Last fall we tried something new: hosting brunch in the backyard with different chefs around town. We’ve been thrilled with the response from the neighborhood and will continue the series indefinitely, so long as interest remains high. Maya Morrill and her fresh, innovative dishes (deviled huevos rancheros, anyone?) will stay a permanent fixture every first Sunday, and alternating chefs share the remaining. Jennifer and Jason Bremer from Fast and French pop in about once a month with Belgian waffles and chocolate croissants (among others!), and Flo and Jon Languell hit the backyard with T-Rex Tacos, empanadas, and homemade herb chimichurri that you’ll dream about. Keep up with the Facebook event postings and make plans to swing over for some good food. You’ll thank us when you do, we can promise that.
